Nilfisk Cleaning Technology at POWTECH in Nuremberg

Certainly the right solution

That industrial vacuum cleaners from the cleaning equipment specialist Nilfisk GmbH set industry standards in terms of technology, ergonomics, and performance is once again experienced firsthand by trade visitors at POWTECH. The product range of the "Nilfisk grey line" includes solutions for a variety of practical requirements. However, the focus is on the special safety and hygiene needs in the environment of industrial manufacturing and cleanroom technology.

The mobile high-end industrial vacuum cleaners VHW321 HC and VHW421 HC impress not only with an air throughput of up to 53 and 89 liters per second and a vacuum of 17 and 19 kilopascals, respectively. The powerful vacuums – which comply with GMP guidelines for quality assurance – are also easy to clean and disinfect themselves due to their improved surface finish and modular design. Additionally, they feature a new closure system for the lid and container, enabling easy removal and emptying, as well as the PullClean process. The special feature: cleaning of the class-M cartridge filter system requires no additional external compressed air supply and is carried out by utilizing the differential pressure between the environment and the filter chamber during operation. The power consumption of the VHW321 is 1.5 kilowatts, with a container volume of 25 liters. The more powerful VHW421 offers 2.2 kilowatts of intake power and a container size of 48 liters. For particularly high safety at work, both industrial vacuums are approved for dust class H, with the VHW421 additionally equipped with a HEPA suction air filter.

Thanks to its GMP-compliant, compact design, the alternating current industrial vacuum VHS110 CR is ideal for highly mobile use in cleanrooms. For efficient and safe collection of wet and dry substances or materials, the machine features an antistatic M-class star filter with an area of one square meter, as well as a HEPA 14 filter for very fine dust. For additional filtration, an ULPA 15 upstream filter can be retrofitted optionally. The cooling air is also subjected to very high filtration via a HEPA13 and ULPA15 filter. During operation, the device guarantees reliable performance with a vacuum of 22 kilopascals, an air throughput of up to 45 liters per second, and a stainless steel container with a capacity of 37 liters. The efficient cleaning of the M-class star filter system during operation is ensured by the so-called PullClean system. This process requires no external compressed air supply and is carried out by utilizing the differential pressure between the environment and the filter chamber during use. The new alternating current industrial vacuum VHS110 Z22 also excels in applications in explosive environments, offering a vacuum of 22 kilopascals and an air throughput of up to 60 liters per second.

The ultra-compact industrial vacuum CTS 22 MC Z22, designed for continuous operation, draws its suction power from a wear- and maintenance-free 2.2-kilowatt side channel blower. Thanks to its small dimensions of 105 centimeters in length, 60 centimeters in width, and 125 centimeters in height, the device is suitable not only for use at individual stations or in pipeline systems. With a ground suction device, the CTS 22 can also be used as a mobile unit for cleaning workshops, warehouses, and shelves. Due to its air throughput of 88 liters per second and a dirt container capacity of 50 liters, the CTS 22 can pick up almost anything that fits through the 70-millimeter wide machine inlet.

The industrial vacuum T40 PLUS L100 complies with the strictest safety regulations. Certified according to IEC/EN 60335-2-69 and the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC, the device is suitable for explosive environments of Zone 22 as well as for health-damaging dust of classes L, M, and H. The two-stage three-phase side channel blower operates with a power of 4.3 kilowatts and guarantees a vacuum of 46 kilopascals and an air throughput of up to 87 liters per second. Depending on the application, the industrial vacuum can be equipped with a star filter with manual or electronic filter shaker or a cartridge filter system with pneumatic cleaning. Additional upstream or downstream HEPA, ULPA, and activated carbon filters can be added for a separation efficiency of 99.999 percent. The machine is equipped with a 100-liter dirt container, including a decoupling mechanism and an optional fill level sensor. Furthermore, safety bags (H-class) or paper bags (M-class) ensure the safe collection of the suction material.

The built-in vacuum VHW200 AU also guarantees high cleaning efficiency. With a power range of 0.45 to 0.85 kilowatts, this compact device is specially designed for use in confined spaces, making installation in production and manufacturing plants effortless. The air throughput of the VHW200 is 20 liters per second at a vacuum of 14.8 kilopascals.
