After the acquisition by Interface, the world's largest manufacturer of modular carpet tiles for the commercial sector based in Atlanta (USA), the Germany sales division of nora systems is restructuring: Activities in the markets of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland are being consolidated and grouped under nora DACH. Within the Interface organization, this area has belonged to the EAAA region (Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia) since January 1, 2019. Bettina Haffelder, previously head of overall sales in Germany at nora systems, will additionally take on responsibility for the markets of Austria and Switzerland as Vice President Sales nora DACH, alongside her previous duties.

"Through this reorganization, we will leverage synergies due to the geographical proximity and cross-regional customer relationships in the DACH region and achieve further positive effects on our daily business," Haffelder is convinced. To coordinate all marketing activities within the nora DACH organization, the position of Head of Regional Marketing nora DACH has been newly created. Simon Knauf, who was previously Market Segment Manager Shops & Stores at nora systems, will take on this role. His team includes a total of five marketing, market segment, and communications managers.

Market Segment Managers for Industry exchange responsibilities

Another change concerns the Industry market segment at nora systems: Market segment managers Christian Fleuren, previously responsible for southern Germany, and his colleague Frank Bähr, responsible for northern Germany, are exchanging their areas of responsibility for organizational reasons.
With these structural and personnel steps, the sales organization of DACH at nora systems will be aligned with the existing organization of Interface, and the nora brand will be further integrated into the Interface structure.
