New: INOXLINE 17B with optimized sealing system

In the further development to Program 17B, Eisele improved the sealing system of the successful INOXLINE quick-connect fittings – no more grooves can form in the hose.

INOXLINE 17B - Eisele develops the successful stainless steel INOXLINE quick-connects further. By optimizing the sealing system, no more grooves can form in the hose.

With the development of the 17B program, which was first introduced at Achema 2018, Eisele has further optimized the sealing system of the successful INOXLINE quick-connects. The O-ring is mounted in the new design before the collet. This improves the sealing of the connection and grooves can no longer form in the hose at the sealing point. In combination with FDA-compliant Viton seals, the 17B program is suitable for a wide range of applications in process and plant engineering as well as in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

In addition to high tightness under overpressure and vacuum, the stainless steel INOXLINE quick-connects 1.4301/1.3207 impress with their easy-to-clean design and corrosion resistance. This choice of material also ensures that the transported process media are not contaminated by material components or particles.

Proven sealing technology

The special sealing technology of the already proven 17A program, with two FKM (Viton) seals in the collet, can withstand internal gas pressures of up to 24 bar as well as vacuum down to -0.95 bar. Depending on the media used and connection sizes, pressures of up to 100 bar are even possible for liquids. Many quick-connects on the market are designed for high pressures but are not automatically suitable for vacuum applications. The quick-release sleeve of the quick-connects with an internal collet allows for quick assembly and disassembly of the hose. The second seal of the connection not only enables the use of higher working pressures but also provides additional safety against dirt ingress into the system.
