Rooms or devices in which temperature-sensitive products such as medicines, pharmaceutical or biological products, or fresh food are stored must be suitable for this purpose and qualified according to guidelines. Depending on the stored products, there are different guidelines for qualification. With the BRIEM. MAPPING-SERVICE (Storage Mapping), the company offers various options to support the execution of a temperature mapping.

Why or when is mapping needed (Temperature Mapping, Storage Mapping)?

Mapping refers to the comprehensive analysis of the thermal conditions of a room or chamber (temperature distribution study). Unlike a monitoring system, mapping depicts the complete climatic behavior of a room/device and is thus a prerequisite before commissioning a monitoring system. The necessity of mapping before commissioning is described in the various GPD guidelines/regulations. For Europe, the EU-GPD guideline is decisive.

Quick and efficient results with Real-Time Mapping

Manual reading of mapping loggers (data loggers) was yesterday. With Real-Time Mapping, Briem takes a step further. This allows the company to shorten (optimize) the mapping process and additionally offers the possibility to view the data in real time. The data is thus available to the customer at any time, and manual reading is no longer necessary. Stress tests can be conducted in a controlled manner and repeated promptly if necessary, or appropriate measures can be taken. The complete mapping kit (laptop, monitoring software, wireless sensors, and wireless repeaters) is provided by BRIEM. All components are pre-configured, validated, and ready for immediate use. The floor plans used can later be seamlessly integrated into continuous monitoring.

3D visualization of mapping results

With the 3D visualization of all measurement data, Briem offers a brilliant and efficient way to evaluate and analyze mapping results. All temperature measurement data or humidity measurement data are provided to the customer not only as a report but also as a spatial representation in an MP4 video file. This type of visualization can save valuable time in analysis and in identifying possible sources of error. Thermal processes become more understandable and traceable through this presentation, sources of disturbance are easier to identify, and in the case of structural changes, the visualization can be used to better assess risks.
