New: HMI system with integrated RFID reader

The PILOT HMI system from Systec & Solutions GmbH now also allows for the integration of an RFID reader. The RFID reader is installed at the front behind the glass panel, marked with a symbol, and ergonomically accessible.

Until now, the optional equipment was only possible in conjunction with an external box or keyboard. Thanks to the new compact overall solution, this additional attack surface for dust and dirt can be eliminated.

The PILOT is an HMI system specifically developed to meet the high hygiene requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industries. The fully stainless steel system meets the IP65 protection class. The front of the HMI system consists of an anti-reflective PCT multi-touch screen, embedded flush into the stainless steel housing without edges. A laminated polyester film protects against splinters.

The PILOT is available as an industrial PC, monitor, ultra-thin client, or IGEL thin client. In addition to the RFID reader, the HMI system is available with other options such as webcam, microphone, speakers, and freely assignable function keys.
