New flow meters for compressed air and gases
Precisely measure the consumption of compressed air and gases
Only precise knowledge of your compressed air and process gas costs allows for the identification of savings potential. The new thermal flow meters from E+E Elektronik measure the mass flow or standard volume flow in your supply network independently of pressure and temperature, with the highest accuracy. For example, consumption of compressed air, nitrogen, helium, CO2, or oxygen can be measured.
The EE771, EE772, and EE776 flow meters enable pinpoint accurate evaluation throughout the entire pipeline network, from the compressor to the end user. Even the smallest volume flows are measured precisely — a prerequisite for accurate billing of consumption or for detecting leaks. Measurements can be taken in pipelines from DN15 (1/2") to DN300 (12") and operating pressures up to 16 or 40 bar.
Special attention was paid during development to the simple, cost-effective, and above all safe installation of the flow meters. The patented backflow protection of the EE776 sets new standards in terms of safety. The changeover fitting of the EE772 and the ball valve measuring fitting of the EE771 ensure that the flow meters can be quickly installed and removed during operation. This is a useful feature for periodic quality control and calibration. For pipelines from DN40 (1 ½"), this can even be done without interrupting flow in the supply line.
The perfect adaptation of the flow meter to its measurement task can be easily carried out by the customer using the configuration software included in the scope of delivery.
Two signal outputs are available for the transmission of measurement values. Depending on the application, these can be configured as an analog output (current or voltage), a switch output, or a pulse output for consumption measurement. Optionally, the flow meters are also available with an integrated bus output, M-Bus, or Modbus RTU.
