New flexible cleanroom protection concept
Consortium offers innovative cleanroom solution with ProTECT
ProTECT is a standalone cleanroom system designed for prototype development, as a temporary solution, or in emergencies to quickly and reliably provide solid solutions for various cleanroom classes. The system will be introduced for the first time at the Lounges in Karlsruhe from March 25-27.
ProTECT was developed by a consortium of five companies, all of which have previously gained recognition for their extremely short-term cleanroom solutions for satellite construction. These include Hanselmann GmbH, Dastex Group, QleanAir Scandinavia, Merkle CAE Solutions GmbH, and C3-Tent, a spin-off of OHB System AG.
ProTECT offers a professional textile envelope clean tent that is precisely tailored to specific process requirements. The system can also be easily adapted or expanded.
Especially in cases of unclear investment decisions, when it is not yet certain whether investing in a permanent cleanroom is worthwhile, ProTECT can provide pragmatic assistance. It is also suitable as a temporary solution in case of emergencies or when the permanent cleanroom is being maintained or renovated.
From March 25-27, the corporate consortium will present ProTECT for the first time at Lounges 2025 in Karlsruhe. Visitors can get an impression on-site of how flexible and quick the protective concept works in practice and how the cleanroom classes are maintained.
"With numerical CFD simulation, we at ProTECT lay an important foundation to quickly, reliably, and securely design the respective protective concept according to the specific customer requirements with our partners. We want to offer the market a real and flexible solution. Something that seemed unthinkable in the cleanroom sector. Through the use of new technologies and the collaboration of leading companies in this field, we turn innovations into reality," says Dipl.-Ing. (TU) Stefan Merkle, Managing Partner of Merkle CAE Solutions GmbH.
Further information is available at Lounges, Cleanroom and Processes, from March 25-27 at the new Messezentrum Karlsruhe, Stand E2.4.
