MANN+HUMMEL Air Filtration expands its portfolio for cleanroom applications with the new Nanoclass RTM series of filter deck outlets. The new product generation includes airborne particle filter deck outlets for cleanroom applications and complements the existing HEPA air filter range. It offers customers in the fields of life sciences, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and food production a robust, versatile, and easy-to-integrate solution for building reliable cleanrooms. The Nanoclass RTM series has been developed for various project requirements – from demanding solutions for healthcare applications to designs for the highest quality standards in life sciences. With this portfolio addition, MANN+HUMMEL addresses both new construction and existing projects in the cleanroom sector.

Flexible terminal housings for different cleanroom requirements

The product family includes, among others, the RTM Select and RTM EF variants. The series offers all classic connection options with top, side, round, and square connection nozzles. Three standard outlet types (swirl, Coanda, and perforated sheet) are compatible across the product family, simplifying planning and adaptation to project requirements.

Customers and project partners thus receive a suitable solution within a product family depending on application, segment, and performance requirements. Application-specific consulting helps select the appropriate design for each cleanroom project. For planners, engineers, and operators, this flexibility is an important factor. The new product series is aimed at decision-makers in early project planning as well as users responsible for operational safety, validation, and maintenance.

Tool-free maintenance and increased process safety

In sensitive cleanroom applications, installation, operation, and maintenance must work reliably together. The Nanoclass RTM EF has been designed for particularly simple, safe, and ergonomic handling for filter replacement. Opening, filter positioning, and fastening are completely tool-free. The filter can be inserted precisely and securely fixed without damaging the housing or filter during maintenance.

The fully welded construction ensures maximum airtightness and resistance to hydrogen peroxide and other disinfectants in standard concentration. The filter integrity can be quickly and reliably checked via an aerosol injection port. Additional measurement ports, for example for differential pressure monitoring, can be integrated upon request. This solution thus supports efficient maintenance procedures and safe operation in demanding cleanroom environments.
