New ESD intermediate clothing "climastat" from WZB Excites

In addition to the long-standing development and production of classic cleanroom outerwear, the WZB (Workshop Center for Disabled People of Lebenshilfe gGmbH) in Neunkirchen/Saar is now also manufacturing cleanroom interim clothing.

With this, the responsible parties at WZB are responding to market changes, as contamination control and wearing comfort are becoming increasingly important. After all, interim clothing is the layer that sits directly on the skin and is therefore physiologically the most important. For this purpose, WZB has developed an extremely comfortable material in collaboration with the Swiss fabric manufacturer.

It was tested for comfort at the Hohenstein Institutes and received a top grade of 1.1. It is generally available from WZB in the colors white (opaque), blue, green, and gray. Other colors are available upon request.

A special highlight that sets the clothing apart from many other products on the market is its electrostatic dissipative capability, as carbon fibers are woven into the material in the longitudinal direction. Finally, the wearer is no longer bothered by the unpleasant static buildup effect of interim clothing, as known from sports jerseys. Not least, electrostatic charging also poses dangers in cleanroom production, as particles are attracted by the charge like a magnet.

The WZB provides the connection service, as they have been specialized in the proper preparation (decontamination, steam sterilization, rental service) of cleanroom and interim clothing for over 20 years.
