The Curing-by-Design technology from Sika Deutschland GmbH completely decouples the processing time from the curing speed and minimizes waiting times. It is now being used for the first time in flooring applications: With the new curing accelerator Sikafloor-3000 Snapbooster, decorative polyurethane floor coatings can be applied within a day. The new product is particularly suitable for areas where quick re-commissioning is crucial, such as healthcare, educational institutions, or public buildings.

With the new curing accelerator Sikafloor-3000 Snapbooster, the many unproductive hours during the installation of a floor coating system and multiple trips to the construction site are a thing of the past. The additive minimizes waiting times between work steps when applying a PU floor system and broadens the scope of application, as the faster curing now allows smaller areas to be coated quickly, safely, and efficiently.

Floor repair work in just one day

In healthcare, commercial, or public buildings, long downtimes are not possible, and a short closure period is essential. However, long curing times of PU coatings delay the process. With Sikafloor-3000 Snapbooster, mixing and processing times remain unchanged, but curing is accelerated. The entire coating system can be applied within a single day, and the finished floor surface can be used again shortly afterward. This allows more areas to be coated in less time, and projects can be condensed.

Simple and safe to use

The processing of the Sika ComfortFloor system in just one day is very straightforward. The epoxy primer Sikafloor-150/-151 or -701 is mixed together with the EP accelerator Sikafloor-54 -Booster for faster curing, then evenly spread over the surface with a squeegee and rolled out with a roller. Incorporation of desired special effects is possible after 20 minutes. After just three hours of curing, preparations for sealing can begin.

Easy storage and handling

Sikafloor-3000 Snapbooster is available in small bottles of 280 ml. One bottle is added to exactly one container of Sikafloor-3000/3000 FX. This simplifies storage and handling and offers the applicator great flexibility under different construction site conditions.
