With the newly developed connecting elements, Maschinenbau Kitz expands its extensive profile technology range. The new connectors enable quick, cost-effective, and flexible profile constructions and combine the advantages of the sturdy angle with those of the disturbance-free clamping connector.

The connection elements of the mk profile modular system offer versatile possibilities and all freedoms in implementing profile constructions. mk has expanded its existing portfolio with a modern and cost-efficient range of connection elements without external disturbance contours and, in some cases, without processing the profile. This allows for the realization of constructions that are not only functional but also meet the highest design standards. With a vertical load capacity of 90 to 120 kg, some of the new connectors are on par with the performance of an angle.

No Profile Processing

With the new anchor connector, mk has developed a technique that allows two profiles to be connected without any processing. "No drilling needed, no thread cutting. Simply screw and done," explains Christian Becker, product manager at mk. The anchor connector is inserted into the drill channel Ø 10 mm of the profile series 40 and tensioned with a screw. It is then connected to the second profile via the side anchors and is simultaneously secured against twisting. This not only saves time during assembly but also reduces costs.

More Flexibility Through Post-Assembly

The clamping claw and the anchor connector both offer the possibility to mount and move profiles afterward. By simply tightening the screw in the groove, additional profiles can be attached even after the profile construction is completed if the conditions on-site change. This allows for even greater flexibility in responding to individual requirements.

Super Clean Without Dirt Edges

For the special requirements in cleanroom environments, mk has developed a connector that cleanly and twist-proof joins the special cleanroom profiles with closed groove. "Our cleanroom connector meets the highest hygiene standards, for example, for the pharmaceutical, food, or electronics sectors," says Christian Becker. "Due to the particularly good form fit, even the smallest particles have no chance to contaminate the construction."

Compact and Highly Sturdy

With the bolt connector, mk has developed a compact yet very stable connector. It is used where the disturbance contour of an angle is to be avoided and an extremely stable connection is required. Due to the different variants, the connector can be used in profile series 40 and 50.

Feather-Light All-Rounders

Tabs are the preferred fastening elements at mk, used in conjunction with angles, consoles, plates, and accessories mounted on the groove side. They are highly load-bearing and tear-resistant. With the new version including a spring plate, the tab is fixed in the profile groove and can no longer slip. This greatly simplifies the installation of additional elements in the vertical direction.
