New colors and new design for the nora bestseller
Rubber flooring noraplan signa in new look
Bestseller in a new look: With an updated design and color spectrum as well as an additional surface variant, the rubber flooring noraplan signa from nora systems is debuting at BAU 2019. Since its market launch in 2007, the rubber floor has impressed with its versatility in terms of accessories, color, and functionality. These qualities have made it a worldwide bestseller among nora floor coverings, with around 16 million square meters sold. It is found in hospitals, schools, and universities, in industrial plants, public buildings, and rail vehicles from Shanghai to the USA, from Antwerp to Dubai.
All-rounder for every application
"noraplan signa is an all-rounder for every application and the most successful product in nora systems' history," says Dirk Oswald, Head of Product Management at nora systems. The reasons for its ongoing success are diverse. On one hand, the color variety is convincing. noraplan signa offers the largest selection among all nora floor coverings with 48 colors. On the other hand, the floor is also functionally a versatile all-rounder and supports the system concept. For example, noraplan signa is available as a conductive variant, as tiles and sheet material, or in different thicknesses (two and three millimeters). A version with particularly high impact sound insulation is also part of the range. In addition to the many technical and functional properties, the noraplan signa product portfolio includes matching accessories such as joint filler or skirting boards for perfect wall installation. Furthermore, noraplan signa is also available as an nTx variant, where the adhesive is already applied to the underside of the flooring. A new addition is a particularly slip-resistant R10 variant with a reflective-refracting surface. "This product is available in one color in stock – all other colors can be produced at any time with a minimum order quantity," explains Oswald.
Revised color spectrum
In addition to the new surface variant, the color spectrum and the granulate design of noraplan signa have also been revised. "It was important to us during the updates to create a harmonious design with timeless colors, so that a installed floor still looks attractive and modern after decades," says Oswald. The granulate infillings of the new noraplan signa are even better coordinated with the respective base color. The updated colors range from cool gray tones to warm beige shades and vibrant hues, offering countless combination possibilities and creating a pleasant room atmosphere across different areas with a cohesive look.
Like all nora floor coverings, noraplan signa is also particularly low-emission, ensuring healthy indoor air quality. Its dense surface makes it highly resistant and easy to clean. As a result, the floors are extremely economical and meet the highest hygiene standards. Thanks to their high, durable elasticity, they also provide optimal standing and walking comfort.
"With the latest developments in functionality, color variety, and design, we are optimally prepared for the future with noraplan signa and will continue to be very successful with this product," Oswald is convinced.
