New cleanroom lamp "aduna" from Regiolux

In view of the steadily increasing demands on high technologies for industry and research and a growing demand for cleanrooms in the medical sector, Regiolux has expanded its expertise and adapted its portfolio to the latest state of the art. The result is the aduna cleanroom lighting family, which efficiently and precisely meets the highest cleanroom requirements. It offers protection class IP65 and has successfully passed the demanding tests conducted by the Fraunhofer IPA Institute. The certified luminaires are demonstrably suitable for use in cleanroom systems in the food and cosmetics industries, for industry and commerce, and for healthcare and nursing facilities – up to use in operating rooms in hospitals.

The cleanroom luminaire has been awarded excellent values for biological and chemical resistance, cleanability, and particle emission through IPA qualification. It is certified up to class ISO 1, meaning it meets the highest purity requirements. The manufacturing process has also been tested according to GMP Class D (Good Manufacturing Practice) quality assurance guidelines. The specifications and manufacturing conditions of the cleanroom luminaire are verified by an IPA test according to DIN 14644-1. These confirm both the cleanability and the necessary safety against microbial growth and microorganisms.

As a surface-mounted luminaire with a steel sheet housing and a light exit surface made of laminated safety glass, the aduna from Regiolux is suitable for installation as a single luminaire and as a light strip – with an optional built-in frame also for ceiling installation. Innovative lighting technologies guarantee excellent glare control: The microprismatic multilayer technology prevents the visibility of individual LED points, making it suitable for screen workstations and ensuring homogeneous and glare-free lighting. In the version with Miro-quality raster for screen workstations (BAP), it guarantees top values for UGR and luminance.

With various options, the aduna family of luminaires offers high luminous fluxes up to 14,800 lm. Additionally, it achieves very good efficiency of up to 136 lm/W. The used Constant Lumen Output (CLO) capable drivers ensure flicker-free and interference-free operation—even in environments with sensitive electronic devices. Two different light colors, 4000K/5000K, and color rendering indices Ra 80/90 help ensure that the right light can be chosen for each cleanroom application. The luminaires, which come standard with DALI technology, are dimmable and controllable and prepared for connection to an emergency power supply or a central battery. Their use is sustainable thanks to outstanding lifespan and a seven-year LED warranty.
