New CEO for ELPRO Group

Philipp Osl has been appointed as the new CEO of ELPRO-BUCHS AG (and the ELPRO Group), a globally leading provider of environmental monitoring solutions for the pharmaceutical, life sciences, and healthcare industries. He will assume this role on September 1, 2020, the company announces.

Since 2017, Philipp Osl has been with ELPRO - most recently as Head of Product Management, where he was able to give new impetus to the team and establish product management as an important link between market, development, production, and quality.

"He is an inclusive, solution-oriented team player who is deeply committed to our customers and employees," says former ELPRO CEO, Beat Rudolf. "The Board of Directors and our entire management team have great confidence in Philipp."

Beat Rudolf will continue to serve on the Board of Directors, together with co-owner and Head of Strategy and Marketing, Martin Peter.

"In addition to his management skills, Philipp has extensive experience in software development and digital services. Together with the existing management team, he will continue to write the success story of ELPRO," emphasizes Martin Peter.

Philipp Osl is 38 years old, married, has two daughters, and lives in Vorarlberg, Austria. He studied Business Informatics at the Technical University in Vienna, Austria. After a research stay at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA, he earned his doctorate in Economics at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

One of Philipp Osl's first initiatives as CEO will be to advance the market entry strategy for ELPRO's new mobile IoT real-time data logger family, LIBERO Gx. The new, reusable series of LIBERO data loggers with Bluetooth interface and the new cloud-based monitoring solutions, developed under his leadership, will further expand ELPRO's successful product portfolio.
