Neuberger Room Automation System Open.Room receives BACnet certification

The room automation system Open.Room from Rothenburg-based experts in building and room automation has recently been successfully certified according to BACnet. The certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 16484-5 confirms the conformity of Open.Room with the BACnet Functional Profile B-BC.

Neuberger Building Automation GmbH, provider of innovative building and room automation solutions and a member of the BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU), is pleased to announce that the room automation system Open.Room has successfully undergone the BACnet certification process. The certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 16484-5 confirms the conformity of Open.Room with the BACnet Functional Profile B-BC. Interested parties can find detailed information on the BACnet Interoperability Building Blocks (BiBBs) and Protocol Implementation Conformance Statements (PICs) in the "BTL Listing," which is available at https://www.bacnetinternational.net.

BACnet, the globally recognized data communication standard for building automation, enables an vendor-independent network solution and promotes interoperability between different devices and systems. The BACnet certification by the BACnet Testing Laboratories (BTL) now guarantees that Neuberger's room automation system Open.Room meets industry standards for conformity and interoperability.

The BTL certification, conducted in collaboration with an accredited testing laboratory from Krefeld, also confirms that the Open.Room system from Neuberger is correctly implemented. This means that the system functions properly, is reliable, and meets the required standards and specifications. It thus provides all users with a solid foundation for future system improvements and expansions. Additionally, the use of BTL-certified products can reduce both integration time and costs, making it crucial for building owners, operators, and planners of building automation projects.
