The new room automation system, efficient energy management systems, as well as innovations in the building control and management system ProGrafNT8 are the focus at Neuberger during the trade fair.

At the joint booth 3A.218 of the Weishaupt Group in Hall 3A, Neuberger presents intelligent systems and solutions for building automation. In addition to the focus on modern room automation, visitors can also find information on efficient energy management systems as well as innovations in the building wiring and management system ProGrafNT8.

As a highlight at the trade fair for sanitation, heating, air conditioning, and renewable energy, which takes place from April 10-13, 2018, in Nuremberg, Neuberger will showcase the room automation system Open.Room (short OR1). Open, modular, and flexible are just a few of the features that distinguish the new room controller.

Communication interfaces such as DALI, SMI, KNX, EnOcean, and ModBus ensure the necessary openness in connecting lighting systems, blinds, and room control devices. The modularity of Neuberger's OR1 is characterized by the variable arrangement and number of individual I/O and communication modules. The digital and analog modules are available with signals for 0-10 V, 4-20 mA, Ni1000, or PT1000. A special highlight: individual modules can be quickly removed if needed thanks to the convenient push-in connection technology, while the room automation continues to operate seamlessly. Safety is ensured by an integrated web server with TLS encryption and firewall.

Maximum flexibility in room layout and adaptability to changes in usage are guaranteed with the appropriate software "RoomDesigner." The automatic generation of flexible room layouts in the automation system is achieved via graphical operation. Room division and adjustment can thus be implemented quickly, easily, and without any modifications to electrical and/or HVAC installations. Notably, the RoomDesigner runs on the GLT system ProGrafNT, providing a continuous system from field automation to the control level. This is rarely found on the market and offers users the significant advantage of being able to independently carry out room modifications.

"Modern room automation reduces costs, optimizes benefits, and increases value creation. With Open.Room, we have developed a room automation system that is extremely user-friendly on one hand and allows for a significant improvement in the energy balance of buildings on the other," says Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Jürgen Metzger, Sales Management of Neuberger Building Automation GmbH.

In addition to the room automation system Open.Room, active and efficient energy management is also a focus of the trade fair presentation. Two in-house developed options, "ProEnergie" and "ProWetter," are available to significantly reduce energy consumption. ProEnergie, an energy monitoring system, enables the monitoring of energy consumption in a facility, visualizes energy flows, and generates automated reports. Insights gained from this data can be used to optimize the systems accordingly. With ProWetter, a reduction in energy costs can be achieved by integrating weather forecast data into control strategies. In addition to room automation and energy management, users and interested parties can look forward to some new functions and features of the building wiring and management system ProGrafNT8 developed by Neuberger.

Neuberger Building Automation is particularly characterized by its close connection to its broad customer base. Companies from the energy supply sector, healthcare, industry, research, as well as from the food and pharmaceutical sectors, are among the company's clients. Public buildings such as kindergartens, swimming pools, or shopping centers have also been successfully implemented multiple times. The specialist for building automation, room automation, cleanroom technology, and process technology offers a complete program. Starting with analysis and solution development, through project planning, software creation, to manufacturing, installation, and commissioning, the company acts as a competent partner for all questions — true to the motto "Everything from a single source." From April 10 to 13, the company will present itself at the IFH INTHERM trade fair at the joint booth 3A.218 in Hall 3A, together with Max Weishaupt GmbH and Baugrund Süd Gesellschaft für Geothermie mbH.
