The Plastics Center in Leipzig (KUZ), together with Invest Region Leipzig GmbH (IRL), invites you to a business breakfast on October 19, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the KUZ's Fakuma trade fair booth (B3–3006). In a relaxed atmosphere, with snacks and Leipzig "Lerchen" (a local pastry), the KUZ trade fair team is available for conversations about plastic processing and testing, process optimization, and employee training as a competent partner. The experienced team of IRL offers information and advice on settlement and expansion opportunities in the Leipzig region. As a company of the City of Leipzig, the districts of Leipzig and Nordsachsen, and the Leipzig Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), IRL provides information during the business breakfast on topics such as funding opportunities, skilled labor, and land in the Leipzig region.

Qualify Employees

Employee training is not only the focus at the KUZ trade fair booth – this year's Fakuma exhibitor forum also emphasizes recruiting, training, and further education. KUZ will give a presentation at the exhibitor forum on October 18, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. on "Securing Skilled Workforce through Targeted Further Education – Best Practice." Visitors to the fair can learn about and receive advice on the diverse opportunities for further training in areas such as injection molding, polyurethane processing, plastic welding, mold and tool development, compounding, as well as plastics and quality. In addition to seminars and conferences, KUZ has been offering part-time further education since 2017 for career changers to become a "Certified Specialist for Plastic Injection Molding" according to the qualification standards of GKV/TecPart.
