Multivac supports Typhoon victims in the Philippines through donation

At the beginning of November, Typhoon Haiyan hit the central islands of the Philippines, forcing millions of people to leave their homes and seek shelter in emergency shelters. With a sum of 5,000 euros, Multivac supports the internationally active organization humedica e.V. in Kaufbeuren, helping to provide medical and logistical aid to the victims in the disaster area.

The medical relief teams of the Kaufbeuren-based aid organization "humedica e.V." are currently in the disaster zone of the destroyed city of Tacloban.

The organization was founded in 1979 by Wolfgang and Dieter Groß. The globally active aid organization, which primarily cares for children in need, quickly and precisely delivers food, vital vaccines and medicines, as well as technical equipment to disaster and emergency areas.

For Multivac, it is natural to provide assistance in such a humanitarian catastrophe and especially to support projects whose goal is to stand by people in need through disasters or structural poverty with all available means. With a donation of 5,000 euros, the company makes a small contribution to this self-understanding.
