Reliable protection – easy to install and economical

The explosion protection burst discs Vent-Saf are among the easiest to install pressure relief devices on the market — especially in the version with an integrated mounting frame. Their very flat design also makes handling uncomplicated, simple, and quick. Once installed, Vent-Saf reliably protects due to their quick response capability and the sudden release of a large relief opening. To ensure a perfect fit, Bormann & Neupert by BS&B offers the explosion protection burst discs in numerous size variants and with response pressures ranging from 20 to 350 millibar.

The standard material for Vent-Saf is stainless steel AISI 304L; for highly corrosive media, materials such as Hastelloy, Inconel, or Monel are also available. The seals are designed as EPDM foam seals — special sealing materials can also withstand process temperatures above 250 °C permanently or meet special hygiene requirements. Optional versions also incorporate electrical isolation, weather protection, or integrity sensors, as well as custom hole patterns.

The application possibilities of Vent-Saf include all areas where dust-like substances can pose a hazard. This is, for example, in food and animal feed production, woodworking, pharmaceuticals, or the coal industry.
