More exhibitors and more space: Cleanzone 2014 continues to grow
High acclaim from international manufacturers and users - German Cleanroom Institute with General Assembly at Cleanzone
The Cleanzone continues to grow: More than a month before the event begins, 55 exhibitors (2013: 50 exhibitors) have registered, and the occupied space has increased by 26 percent. With around 30 percent, the interest from international manufacturers is high. Additionally, a strong interest from foreign participants is already evident in the pre-registration of visitors. Ruth Lorenz, Head of Technology & Production at Messe Frankfurt, explains: "Semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food are now produced worldwide. Therefore, the demand for an international, cross-sector trade fair like the Cleanzone is very high to exchange ideas with colleagues from around the world about innovations, standards, and experiences." Besides German exhibitors, companies from England, the Netherlands, Austria, Slovenia, Portugal, and Switzerland are currently presenting at the trade fair and congress for cleanroom technology on October 21 and 22, 2014, in Frankfurt am Main.
"The product range of the Cleanzone has also become broader, and in some areas, we have gained new market leaders. This is partly because we have actively utilized the synergies with our leading technology trade fairs such as ISH, Texcare, or IFFA, which have interfaces with the Cleanzone for exhibitors or visitors," adds Lorenz. For the first time at Cleanzone 2014, climate and building technology specialist Trox will showcase its innovations, Orben Water Treatment will present methods for producing ultrapure water, and Dorfner and the British company Contec will expand their product offerings for cleanroom cleaning. Additionally, complete providers Becker Cleanroom Technology and Nerling System Rooms are new participants, along with filter manufacturers HS-Luftfilter and AFPRO Filters, consumables producer Nitritex, and measurement and control technology specialists ELPRO, PMT, and TSI. Once again, industry leaders such as Assa Abloy, Basan, Cleanroom Competence, Daldrop + Dr. Ing. Huber, Deerns, Dycem, Ecolab, Particle Measuring Systems, Profi-con, Spetec, Viessmann, and Weiss will be prominently represented.
The German Cleanroom Institute, where leading figures from industry and science have come together, will hold its general assembly on the day before Cleanzone. Additionally, the institute supporting Cleanzone will present itself with an information booth at the trade fair. Parallel to the trade fair, the Cleanzone Congress will take place. Top topics this year include new applications for cleanrooms such as OLEDs or MEMS, energy efficiency, disinfection, cleanroom standards, as well as validation and qualification.
