Efficiency is in demand in intralogistics, especially in economically challenging times. Simplified processes can often save time and reduce costs. This can be practically achieved daily with a weighing pallet truck from EAP Lachnit, as it combines a pallet truck with a scale. With this clever design, goods do not need to be transported, unloaded, and weighed on separate scales. They are simply weighed during transport. This significantly simplifies material flow. The southern German manufacturer EAP Lachnit goes a step further and offers robust stainless steel weighing pallet trucks, suitable for sensitive areas in the food or pharmaceutical industries as well as for use in explosion-proof areas and cleanrooms.

As basic models, the proven fork lift truck 400 K with parking brake or the new model Type 400 Quick (with Quicklift function for faster lifting) from EAP Lachnit are available. Both can transport up to 2,000 kilograms with a lift height of 90 to 200 millimeters. In standard configuration, forks measuring 1,150 x 555 millimeters are installed, suitable for accommodating pallet sizes CP1, 2, 3, and Euro.

The weighing process is carried out with precise scales from well-known manufacturers. Energy is only consumed during the weighing process, allowing up to 20 hours of operation. Various calibration options can be set. The gross, net, and tare functions are switched at the display terminal, which is completely made of stainless steel. The scales are protected against splashing water (IP65); the four weighing cells are sealed welded and meet protection class IP67. Due to its robust construction, the weighing pallet truck can also be operated without issues under harsh environmental conditions with temperature fluctuations from -10°C to +40°C. It is also reliably protected against vibrations and shocks.

The equipment can be customized; optional features include different fork dimensions, other scale models, or special customizations. Upon request, available in explosion-proof classification II 2 GD c and/or cleanroom version. The floor conveyors can also be equipped with WLAN connectivity or a mobile printer.
