Stäubli is repositioning itself in the mobile robotics segment. Visitors to LogiMAT 2025 at Stand 8B17 in Hall 8 will learn all about it. Here, the groundbreaking standard transport robots of the latest generation can also be seen, which will complement Stäubli Robotics' traditional portfolio in the future.

Since modern production concepts often rely on a combination of stationary and mobile robots, and increasingly more customers are demanding solutions from a single source, the restructuring of sales is perfectly timed for Peter Pühringer, Managing Director of Stäubli Robotics Bayreuth: “From now on, the mobile robots produced in Sulzbach-Rosenberg will be sold as standard products through Stäubli Bayreuth. This means our offering no longer ends with stationary industrial robots but also includes mobile standard solutions. We are thus becoming a comprehensive full-service provider. Of course, the business with large, custom-designed AGVs remains fully based at the Sulzbach-Rosenberg site.”

Three mobile solutions for a variety of applications

And the mobile standard robots that complement the range of stationary robots are at the center of Stäubli’s exhibition at LogiMAT in Stuttgart. These include the driverless transport vehicle PF3, the counterbalance forklift FL1500, and Sterimove, the world's first mobile robot specifically developed for the pharmaceutical industry.

The platform AGV PF3 is already available on the market and scores with extremely compact dimensions and an exceptionally high load capacity of three tons. Awarded the Red Dot Design Award and recognized as a best smart product, this vehicle is a true all-round talent, offering a perfect solution for material transport along production lines as well as between lines and warehouses in nearly all industries.

Another highlight at the fair is the self-driving counterbalance forklift FL1500, developed in close collaboration with Mercedes-Benz’s logistics planning.

This vehicle has a maximum load capacity of 1.5 tons. Thanks to its compact design, it features high maneuverability and a minimal turning radius, making it ideal for use in confined spaces. FL1500 initially comes to market as a monomast AGV, with later versions available in a different mast configuration with even greater lifting heights.

And another innovation that cannot be missing at LogiMAT 2025 is Sterimove, the world's first mobile robot compatible with GMP classes A/B/C/D. Its unique design and freely accessible wheels minimize the risk of contamination. As this solution is currently unparalleled, there is already high demand from the pharmaceutical industry.
