The new miniature profile rail guides of the LLS series from Ewellix are extremely compact and promise smooth operation. They operate quietly and are durable – making them suitable for applications in industry and laboratories.

The new miniature profile rail guides of the LLS series not only incorporate Ewellix’s decades of experience in automation but also the latest insights from research and development. The result is a component that meets all requirements: The LLS systems are durable and robust, enable precise movement sequences, and are cost-effective in acquisition and maintenance.

High availability and minimal maintenance effort are crucial for fully automatic applications such as pick-and-place stations, chemical analysis devices, or 3D printers. Therefore, Ewellix pre-lubricates the LLS carriage units at the factory. The included lubricant reservoir ensures optimal long-term lubrication of the entire linear guide system. The improved sealing design also helps to reliably retain the lubricant within the carriage and prevents contamination. Additionally, an optimized ball circulation ensures smooth operation. This preserves the material, reduces friction, and increases positioning accuracy – at speeds of up to five meters per second and accelerations of up to 140 meters per second squared.

The LLS series is made from corrosion-resistant steel and complies with ISO 12090-2. Its practically designed ball retainer allows for reliable and quick assembly. LLS miniature profile rail guides are available in sizes 7, 9, and 12, with both standard and long carriage types. Rails are available in various mounting configurations up to a length of 1,000 millimeters; upon request, Ewellix also offers custom versions, for example with longer rails. Individual components such as the carriage and guide rails are also optionally available as replacement variants.
