With the gravimetric feeding device METROFLOW, plastic processors can monitor their material flow cost-effectively and efficiently. Thanks to the highly precise weighing technology, the feeding devices are particularly suitable for monitoring material consumption in real-time, making them ideal for use in an Industry 4.0 environment.

METROFLOW weighs each individual conveying process, enabling precise recording of the actual throughput at the transfer point. This is especially advantageous when processing recyclates, as the bulk density of the material can vary more significantly. In addition to the throughput measurement mode, METROFLOW devices can also convey to a predefined, preset target weight. This allows users to optimize conveying times and maintain consistent batch sizes. The devices are available with either 6 or 10 liters of conveying volume.

Thanks to the precise load cell, the weighing accuracy is <1%; vibrations and oscillations caused by the processing machine can be filtered out by the specially developed software. The outlet flap is made of stainless steel, making it wear-resistant and suitable for applications in medical technology or the food packaging industry. An optional swivel stand for mounting on a platform allows easy cleaning of the outlet area on the feeding device.
