METRO SG HES – the new single-phase conveying devices series from motan

At this year's K fair, motan-colortronic introduces the new Simple Solutions series. An easy, quick-to-setup, and cost-effective range in the familiar motan quality for standard granulate applications. This also includes the new METRO SG HES, a single-phase conveyor device for granulate, offered in four throughput sizes from a maximum of 15 kg/h to 200 kg/h.

With this new device series, important areas of the production process can be automated cost-effectively and efficiently, significantly optimizing and simplifying the overall process management. Plastic granulate is transported in machine hoppers, drying hoppers, or other storage containers and fed to the machine. The devices of the METRO SG HES are equipped with their own control system that detects material requirements and begins conveying independently. Costly interruptions caused by idle processing machines are thus prevented, and material loss is avoided.

The device motor is built directly into the device's cover and features high-quality sound insulation. As a result, the devices operate particularly quietly. A consistent, reliable conveyance is also ensured by an automatic filter cleaning with compressed air after each conveying cycle. Alternatively, a filter cartridge can be installed instead of the standard fabric filter.

The control system of the devices already integrates the control of the optional METROMIX mixing valve. This allows bulk material and new material to be reliably fed and mixed. When connecting the METRO SG HES devices to a suction box, the material conveying line can be easily cleared of excess material after each conveying cycle – the reason for this is the integrated emptying function. The "milling delay" function allows the system to "wait" until a corresponding amount of material is in the mill. This prevents continuous switching on and off, saving electricity costs.
