METOCLEAN Overshoe Machine SCM1700 – Protected for the cleanroom in approx. 4 seconds

The overshoe machine SCM1700S from Asmetec can easily adapt overshoes to any type of footwear thanks to its integrated shrink film. To do this, step onto the device's platform with your shoe, which then automatically shrinks the film and wraps it around the shoe. No unpleasant heat is generated during this process. Additionally, a holding arm increases standing comfort during operation. The film can hold and wrap up to 1700 overshoes. Afterwards, the film can be replaced effortlessly by inserting a new roll and advancing the start of the film. The remaining procedure is fully automatic and handled by the machine itself. After use, the machine switches to a standby mode of 0.3 watts through its automatic shutdown feature.

The machine is ideally suited for cleanroom environments where overshoes need to be changed daily. It can also be extremely essential in other production areas where dust and dirt on shoes are undesirable.

The roll used is also available from Asmetec and is made of particularly durable PVC, which is 28 µm thick. It is suitable for dry and not overly smooth floors. One packaging unit contains 2 rolls, providing enough material for approximately 3400 overshoes and requiring only a small storage space.
