Measuring the smallest pressure differences in air and gases accurately

The new differential pressure transmitter AccuSenseTM ASL from Setra Systems offers excellent linearity of better than ±0.03% (end-point method) relative to the measurement range. Another highlight of this model is its extremely low total error (TEB), even with large temperature fluctuations: due to digital compensation, the typical error over a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C is only 0.25% relative to the measurement range. Its long-term stability is specified at 0.15% FS/year.

This model is available with unipolar or bipolar measurement ranges from 500 Pa or ±250 Pa up to 10 kPa and can be used at system pressures up to 1.7 MPa.
Furthermore, this pressure transmitter is characterized by an extremely robust construction. Its measuring membrane is protected by mechanical stops, allowing it to withstand overloads up to 1000 times the measurement range without any impairment of accuracy.

The compact design, with a diameter of only 50 mm, allows for installation even in limited space. Versions with output signals of 0…5V, 0…10V, and 4…20mA are available, enabling adaptation to existing signal processing. The sensor is powered with a voltage between 9…30 VDC, making it suitable for use in mobile systems. With electrical connection options of cable or bayonet connector and a selection of 5 different pressure ports, an optimal connection to the process is ensured. This model is used in test benches, laboratories, wind tunnels, and various analysis devices.
