For three days, experts from the plastics industry will present new products, lectures, and service highlights at Swiss Plastics Expo. motan-colortronic is addressing this year's trade fair theme "Sustainability" and will showcase initial closed-loop solutions as well as several new products; including the METROFLOW, the LUXOR CA A dryer, and the new METRO SG HES conveyor series.

Under the motto "think materials management," motan-colortronic will present its entire portfolio of peripherals for the plastics industry. This includes solutions for dosing and mixing, drying, storing, and conveying — for application scenarios from injection molding to extrusion and blow molding to compounding. An application-oriented approach is pursued in material handling of granulates, milled material, as well as free-flowing and non-free-flowing powders, providing answers to all customer-specific challenges.

METROFLOW – gravimetric conveyor for precise material throughput control

Gravimetric conveyors are used in pneumatic conveying systems to transport material from a silo to the drying hopper or processing machine. Thanks to highly precise weighing technology, METROFLOW devices are particularly suitable for monitoring material consumption in real-time, making them ideal for use in Industry 4.0 environments.

LUXOR CA A compressed air dryer for small to medium throughput

The new LUXOR CA A compressed air dryers, with optimized control and integrated ETAplus® technology, are designed for drying small to medium material throughput. The dryers operate within a temperature range of 30 to 180 °C. They can be installed directly on the processing machine or on a mobile frame. The dryers are available in four sizes with hopper volumes of eight, 15, 30, and 60 liters.

METRO SG HES – single-phase conveyors for automated production processes

With the METRO SG HES single-phase conveyors, plastics processors can automate key areas of the production process cost-effectively and efficiently. This significantly improves overall process management. The plastic granulate is transported quickly and cleanly into machine hoppers, drying hoppers, or other storage containers and supplied to the machine as needed. The METRO SG HES is suitable for throughput rates of 15 to 200 kg/h.
