LPW in Malaysia: Fine cleaning systems for new VAT plant

For over ten years, LPW has been supplying VAT Manufacturing Malaysia with high-purity cleaning systems for the highest cleanliness requirements. The enormous growth in this industry makes it necessary to establish new production sites worldwide. Thus, VAT in Penang will already more than double its capacity next year and build a new plant. And in this new plant, LPW's new fine cleaning systems will be installed.

The trip to Malaysia, including a visit to VAT, had been planned since the end of 2019 but had to be continuously postponed due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. Finally, in early July, it was possible and also urgently necessary. The core of the on-site discussions was the development of a comprehensive multi-stage service and support concept for the ASEAN region, as well as specifically for VAT, the planning of tailored application support in the environment of high-purity processes.

Additionally, further measures for the coming months were discussed. Besides the installation and commissioning of the new XXXL fine cleaning system at the existing plant, the focus was on how to ensure process stability of the "old systems" in the coming years.

In addition to the discussions with VAT and their commitment to commissioning LPW for the implementation of the new fine cleaning systems for the new plant, meetings with existing and potential new partners were also scheduled. All in all, an exciting and very productive trip.
