Over 200 companies are participating in the re-start, presenting interesting new topics, products, and services. Visitors can also look forward to a program with well over 200 contributions.

The current infection rates and debates around the COVID-19 pandemic currently dominate reporting, conversations, and also the work in the 2022 lounges.

Organizers are caught between a rock and a hard place and must ensure that legal requirements are met and that everything is done for exhibitors and visitors to enable a successful event.

By the time of the lounges in February, the applicable requirements will be binding, and necessary measures must be implemented. Whether 3G, 2G, 2G+, or other measures that may be in place by then, the safety of everyone is important.

The lounges operate in an industry where people are accustomed to paying attention to safety and hygiene and even produce products that are mandated worldwide to comply with "Corona" measures.

In short, the lounges should actually offer the safest conditions possible at an event.

More exhibitors than ever before - The lounges are highly sought after

Since the lounges returned to Karlsruhe and focused on the two main areas of Cleanroom and Processes, the number of exhibitors has steadily increased. Compared to 2020, 10% more companies have already registered for 2022. A clear trend towards the lounges as a successful event format is evident, especially in a year when many companies remain cautious due to the current situation. It is the first time in years that a fully booked event is expected.

New and interesting topics and exhibition areas

Companies and partners present new topics in a program that is free for all visitors to attend. In addition to the general program of companies with technical contributions and activities, there will be new and interesting areas designed and organized by the lounges' partners. For example, the CleanroomNet, VIP3000, Fraunhofer IPA, and ISPE will offer numerous contributions.

At the lounges, visitors can also get a glimpse of the future of the trade fair. The completely redesigned and newly created area "Pharma Equipment Construction" shows how the fair will be structured in the future and what opportunities it offers to exhibitors and visitors.

Live and digital

The lounges will of course take place live, allowing people to exchange ideas in person again. Just like in previous years, and as always, this is popular.

In the modern Inspire Studio, which will be live at the lounges, moderators will host talk rounds, exciting interviews, and live product launches for viewers on-site.

This time, there will also be live streams directly from the lounges. Via the Digital365 platform, all contributions can be watched live. A big PLUS in tune with the times…

During the 2022 lounges, the team behind the event, along with Inspire, will also be presenting their areas of expertise and services for the first time. The new brand called C7-Brandexperience will introduce itself.

ARNO Design, which has been an important partner for the lounges for many years, shows what the future of trade fair experiences will look like. The Heidelberg media companies bildbrauerei and SHOUT Media inform visitors and companies about the audiovisual, interactive, and communicative possibilities for online content creation and distribution. HauckIT is the engine room of Digital365 and will demonstrate to visitors what the online platform can do and what makes it special. Also participating are the graphic office around Theo and Stefan Ronellenfitsch.

Outlook on the lounges in October 2022 in Vienna

It was already clear at the last lounges in Vienna that there would be a follow-up event. On October 19 and 20, 2022, the venue will once again be Marx Halle, this time in a new and multifunctional design. Registration for exhibitors began on November 1, 2021. Early bird discounts are very attractive as always until December 15, 2021.
