Lorenz Consult confirms leading role as general planner – successful year 2024 and strategic outlook

Lorenz Consult ZT GmbH looks back on a successful year 2024: With an annual turnover of around 11 million euros, the company was able to further strengthen its position as one of the leading general planners for technically complex construction projects. A solid order situation in the areas of healthcare, laboratories, logistics, and plant-intensive industry was a key driver of the positive economic development.

The company, founded in 1972, now consists of over 60 employees at four locations, all of whom cover construction-specific planning and supervision services in the fields of healthcare facilities, cleanrooms for pharmaceuticals, food, and electronics, industrial and steel construction, as well as planning technology 5D BIM and digitalization in construction with their expertise.

In 2024, Lorenz Consult again carried out a variety of demanding projects. "All our projects that we manage in-house are outstanding," emphasizes Managing Director DI Christian Lorenz, and adds: "We are particularly strong in the areas of laboratories, industry, healthcare, and cleanrooms." Projects in 2024 included, among others, the completion of a large logistics project for goods supply in Vienna, numerous projects in the pharmaceutical, hospital, and university sectors, as well as the partial completion of a significant training center in Graz.

Expertise under one roof

The ongoing success of Lorenz Consult is based on a strong foundation: interdisciplinary teamwork, bringing various disciplines under one roof, pronounced specialist and expert knowledge, focusing on core competencies, and comprehensive planning expertise. "Through the interplay of technical breadth, specialization, and team spirit, Lorenz Consult is among the leading overall planners for technically complex construction projects. The close collaboration of experts from various disciplines – that is, our teamwork across professional boundaries – makes it possible to implement construction projects efficiently and holistically – from the initial idea to handover," says Lorenz. As a general planner, the company combines key areas such as building construction, structural planning, TGA (technical building equipment), and construction supervision. "This concentrated planning competence leads to well-thought-out, economical solutions with high quality. The focus is on complex construction projects such as hospitals, cleanrooms, as well as industrial and logistics buildings. Excellent corporate culture

In 2024, Lorenz Consult received the Top Company award from kununu for the third consecutive year. In addition to economic successes, numerous internal highlights marked the past year. A special event was the multi-day company outing, which sustainably strengthened team spirit. This was complemented by smaller internal team events, where collegial exchange was the focus. Participating in the Business Run has already become a tradition, with four Lorenz Consult teams starting in 2024. "The summer party with a barbecue at the Graz headquarters, an autumn gathering with 'Sturm and Maroni,' and the festive Christmas party rounded off the year successfully," says Lorenz.

Outlook: Expansion and further development

While the number of employees remained stable in 2024, the focus now shifts to targeted expansion: In 2025, establishing a new location in Munich and expanding in-house services, especially in the field of electrical engineering, planning, and construction supervision, are key priorities. The further development of existing core competencies will also be deepened and strengthened – in line with Lorenz Consult's philosophy of executing technically demanding projects with the highest precision and quality.
