The use of floor conveyors and lifting equipment in cleanrooms and Ex areas is regulated by strict regulations. For this purpose, a variety of legal and safety requirements must be met. The German company EAP Lachnit offers specifically for these application areas trolleys, forklifts, and lifts made of stainless steel. They are characterized by their performance, robust construction, and optional special equipment for a variety of tasks in sensitive areas.

The manufacturing processes in cleanrooms and Ex areas follow strict rules and regulations. Lifting and handling technology as well as floor conveyors must also meet these requirements. EAP Lachnit offers trolleys, forklifts, and lifts made of stainless steel for transporting, lifting, and moving goods. The devices from the established manufacturer are considered extremely robust and powerful. For special requirements, additional variants of trolleys, forklifts, and lifts are possible.

Powerful in height

The electric scissor lift trolley type 405 E combines two functions in one device: It transports goods as a trolley with electric drive and lifts them up to 800 mm. At the same time, it can also be used as a lift table. The electric lifting device handles loads of up to 800 kg. The scissor lift trolley, including the pump unit, is completely made of stainless steel. The device meets the protection class IP67. For use in sensitive areas, the trolley is equipped with the material 1.4571 / V4A / AISI 316 and steering and load rollers made of polyurethane. In a special configuration, it is also available for Ex rooms (classification II 2 GD c) and as a cleanroom version.

Safe lifting and moving

For handling in cleanrooms of ISO Class 7 according to DIN EN ISO 14644-1, EAP Lachnit offers the mobile lift type 402 H in stainless steel version. This lifts loads of up to 200 kg to a height of 1600 mm and is manually maneuverable. The load is handled with a lifting plate and two forks, which are movable along the plate. Lifting and lowering are performed with a hand chain hoist and stainless steel wire rope. Polyurethane-coated wheels, which are electrically conductive, are installed in the booms.

For loads with higher weight, the mobile lift with electric drive for lifting and lowering is available as type 402 E. It lifts loads of up to 500 kg to a height of 2000 mm.

Slim and maneuverable: Electric trolley types 411 K, 412 K, 421 KJ, 422

For many transport tasks in Ex areas and cleanrooms, classic trolleys are used. EAP Lachnit also offers special versions here: The electric trolley 411 K is suitable for simple but quick loading and unloading of goods. And when it comes to transporting heavy loads over longer distances, the powerful electric trolley 412 K with a ride-on platform is recommended. The construction of the electric trolleys is very robust. Entry and exit rollers ensure that pallets can be easily picked up. The trolleys have high stability thanks to central wheel drive with bevel gear and offer high driving comfort; thresholds can be easily overcome. Operation is via a safety steering tiller with control and operation elements. The maximum load capacity is 3,000 kg, and the lifting height up to 205 mm (optional up to 300 mm). Thanks to a small turning radius of 1,600 mm, the trolleys are very maneuverable. A travel speed of 4 km/h allows for quick progress.

For conveying tasks that require a higher lift, the electric forklift type 422 is the right choice. With a load capacity of 1,250 kg, it is powerful and offers versatile application possibilities. A large steering angle and full freedom of movement on both sides make the trolley very agile; the bevel gear drive also ensures high stability.

Double-decker operation

The electric forklift 421 KJ was designed as a double-deck loader and is intended for the transport of palletized goods. It guarantees fast work through the combination of main lift and initial lift with maximum safety. With a basic load capacity of 1,600 kg and 1,250 kg in the main lift — or alternatively 1,000 kg plus 1,000 kg combined — the electric forklift is extremely powerful and offers a wide range of applications.
