Lift, swing, lock into place

Adjustable clamping levers are among the most important standard elements for clamping and securing. They are found in a wide variety of application scenarios – accordingly, the Ganter portfolio is presented with a diverse range of options, now offering additional, even more user-friendly models.

For over 50 years, Ganter has included the standard of all adjustable clamping levers in its range: The GN 300 is a timeless modern standard used in almost every context. And: it serves as the basis for a family of clamping levers that Ganter has gradually developed, with variations for specific applications or with special dimensions and additional functions.

For example, the GN 307 type incorporates a crucial additional component: a non-losing contact disc made of hardened steel. The axially fixed disc does not rotate when tightened, protecting the clamping surface from damage and increasing the contact area. Despite the additional disc, the length of the thread remains identical to that of previous models, making replacement straightforward.

The GN 300.4 also features an enlarged circular clamping surface. It integrates an axial ball bearing into the disc, reducing friction during tightening – and enabling the doubling of the clamping force.

When it comes to specially shaped cam formations, the GN 306 is available – here, you find pressure pins with brass or plastic fronts, hardened tips, ball pins, and those with a circular pressure element that distributes the force gently.

Designed for applications in corrosive environments are the stainless steel variants GN 300.5 (matte blasted) and GN 300.6 (electropolished). Particularly, the non-bulging geometry with an external hexagon retaining screw reduces susceptibility to contamination and prevents fluid accumulation.

High hygienic standards are met by the GN 305, certified by DGUV Test, in hygienic design. It combines a completely dead-space-free construction, a solid stainless steel handle, and hygienic sealing between the screw insert and the retractable handle body, as well as towards the contact surface.

The original GN 300 model continues to be optimized. Now, an extremely short lever is available, which, at 22 millimeters in length, minimizes space requirements and limits the torque applied during tightening – this variant is especially suitable for light applications, such as with M3 and M4 threads.

The GN 300 zinc die-cast handle body is available in various coating colors; the bushing and retaining screw in the sub-variant GN 300.1 are made of stainless steel, while in GN 300.2, they are made of galvanized and blue-passivated steel – as always, in accordance with the latest state of the art at Ganter.
