Lectures, exchange, and networking: Virtual fair and conference by Universal Robots enters its second round

Following the great success of the first virtual trade fair and conference in 2020, Universal Robots (UR) is once again inviting you to the COBOT EXFERENCE this year. From March 23 to 25, 2021, the brightest minds from the world of collaborative robotics will gather again to exchange ideas through numerous lectures, beginner demos, exclusive discussion rounds, and practical webinars.

"Start together instead of working alone" – the motto of this year's COBOT EXFERENCE emphasizes collaboration. The three-day virtual event serves as a lecture hall, training workshop, and dialogue forum all in one, providing information about the diverse possibilities enabled by the use of cobots. Whether it's about inspiration or concrete approaches to optimizing production – visitors will receive suitable tips and experiences from real companies at the COBOT EXFERENCE.

Furthermore, the virtual trade fair offers plenty of space for discussions with Cobot professionals from various application areas of collaborative robotics. This includes recommendations on how to bring applications to life and eliminate stumbling blocks right from the start of integration.

Comprehensive program: Industry insights and practical tips

Interested participants can look forward to an exciting live program of industry lectures, experience reports, and discussion rounds over all three mornings.

Renowned industry speakers outline in their presentations what the production of the future might look like and demonstrate how cobots can support companies. For example, DI Dr. Mathias Brandstätter from Joanneum Research Forschungsgesellschaft mbH discusses the potential of human-robot collaboration to increase flexibility in work systems. Professor Dr. Martina Mara, a professor of Robopsychology, also focuses on the acceptance of cobots in her lecture. Industry experts Prof. Dr. Ing. Andreas Syska (Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences) and Dr. Thomas Ramge outline future management and production scenarios that can only be enabled with artificial intelligence (AI) and new technologies. Additionally, Dr. Ing. Christian Henke from the Fraunhofer Institute for Design Technology Mechatronics IEM presents innovative case studies with cobots and explains how they can be implemented in one's own production.

The afternoons of the COBOT EXFERENCE are dedicated to the development of Cobot applications. Participants can confront the experts from Universal Robots with questions via (video) chat and exchange ideas with other visitors.
