Leading companies at the debut of Cleanzone in Frankfurt

Positive signals for Cleanzone on October 24 and 25, 2012, in Frankfurt am Main: Many leading companies have confirmed their participation in the new international trade fair for cleanroom technology. "The concept is well received, and we are receiving high praise from both domestic and international sources. Especially the targeted international orientation of Cleanzone is resonating very well within the industry," says Klaus Reinke, member of the management board of Messe Frankfurt Exhibition.

Among the exhibitors already registered are companies such as Colandis, Kelvin, Kimberly-Clark, Profi-con, and WISAG. Overall, Messe Frankfurt expects around 50 exhibitors for the debut of this specialized trade fair, which will showcase innovations and products related to cleanroom systems, cleanroom technology, construction components, consumables, as well as selected university and college projects.

As a new platform, Cleanzone is not only oriented toward the international market but also responds to the cross-industry expanding application fields of cleanroom technology. On the visitor side, it appeals equally to decision-makers from industries such as chemicals, medicine, pharmaceuticals, food, nanotechnology, optics and laser technology, microelectronics, automotive, as well as aerospace, and invites industry-wide knowledge exchange.

A special aspect is the practical and interactive orientation of the trade fair concept: Exhibiting companies are encouraged not only to showcase the topic of cleanrooms in a personalized and immediate way at their booths but also to allow professional visitors to participate free of charge in lectures and workshops on industry-related topics within the integrated action forum.

Cleanzone Congress

Parallel to the Cleanzone trade fair, the Cleanzone Congress provides current know-how on relevant topics in cleanroom technology. On October 24 and 25, 2012, speakers include Dr. Udo Gommel (Fraunhofer IPA), Conor Murray (3dimension Cleanroom and chairman of the Irish Cleanroom Society), and Florian Dittel (Dittel Engineering).

In addition to highly specialized knowledge transfer, the new industry meeting point emphasizes the close integration of science and industry and promotes networking across industry and national borders. For this purpose, three panels—"Basics," "Technology," and "Operation"—feature internationally renowned specialists who provide deep insights into the latest research findings, current technological trends, and industry perspectives, as well as practical operational aspects of economy, cleaning, clothing, and training.

To implement the congress, Messe Frankfurt collaborates with experienced industry experts. The content is shaped by the Cleanroom Academy from Leipzig and the association partners of Messe Frankfurt.
