Lasair® III 110
The first 0.1 µm particle counter with user-adjustable channels
Particle Measuring Systems introduces the new Lasair® III 110 – The first 0.1 µm particle counter with user-adjustable channels.
During the week of December 2nd, on the occasion of Semicon Japan in Tokyo, Particle Measuring Systems announced the new Lasair III 110, the first and only 0.1 µm particle counter with user-adjustable channels on-site.
Over the years, engineers have struggled with microcontaminations to identify and characterize particle events that lead to costly yield reductions. The Lasair III 110 offers a solution with 8 out of 42 possible channels selectable by the user. This allows engineers to customize the instrument to their needs and respond effectively to particle events.
The Lasair III 110 features a large, easy-to-use infrared touchscreen, an intuitive user interface, and 12 built-in languages. Configured with 4 optional "On-Board Batteries," the counter can operate for more than 7 hours. The device employs Particle Measuring Systems' patented Smart Flow technology, eliminating potential "Undercounting" errors in manifold applications.
With a throughput of 1 CFM (28.3 liters per minute), true 0.1 µm sensitivity, and an elegant stainless steel housing, the Lasair III-110 is suitable for monitoring ISO Class 1-9 cleanrooms (with optional pre-filter), and facilitates worldwide usability and data comparability.
Particle Measuring Systems is a global leader in environmental monitoring technology with over 40 years of experience providing solutions for monitoring particle and microbial contamination for companies manufacturing in clean environments. As the inventor of laser-based particle counters, the company sets standards for particle monitors in pharma, nanomaterials, aerospace, integrated circuits, and electronics manufacturing.
