KEL-ERM from icotek: Divisible cable entry with certified protection class IP66

With the KEL-ERM, icotek has significantly advanced its KEL-ER series. The split cable entry is specially designed for demanding industrial applications and proves reliable wherever pre-assembled cables need to be introduced into enclosures in a space-saving manner. With multiple grommets, it achieves IP65 protection for the first time.

The KEL-ERM cable entry from icotek is characterized by particularly high sealing, simple installation, and a flexible system design, and is now available in various sizes and versions.

High sealing with easy installation

The KEL-ERM achieves IP66 protection with single grommets. For the first time, the use of multi-grommets with IP65 protection is also possible. Depending on the grommet, cables with diameters from 1 to 35 millimeters can be introduced, sealed, and strain-relieved according to DIN EN 62444. The cable grommets are automatically fixed and securely positioned during assembly. After wiring, the end cap is screwed on. The injected seal eliminates the need for additional flat seals during wall mounting – no seal can be forgotten. Additionally, the assembly time is shortened.

Especially flexible and secure

The KEL-ERM is compatible with standard cutouts for 10-, 16-, and 24-pin heavy-duty connectors. The size KEL-ERM B also fits into cutouts of 46 x 46 millimeters, for example, for controllers or meters. The installation height is 22 millimeters, and the width is 65 millimeters.

For increased safety and stability requirements, the KEL-ERM is optionally available with integrated threaded inserts. These can be mounted from the inside of the enclosure and provide additional protection against vandalism or unintentional loosening.
