The success of the company KEK is based on a fascination with stainless steel. It is this fascination that drives the employees to work passionately every day – it pushes the company towards optimal products and innovative solutions. KEK was founded in 1992 as Königsbrücker Edelstahl- und Küchentechnik GmbH. With 20 employees at the time, the foundation was laid for today's success. As a subsidiary of the globally active TEKA Group headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, the company benefits from the many opportunities offered by the group.

On the new company premises in Laussnitz, which has been expanded several times since 1996, today 120 employees are employed. Last year, over 700 customers were supplied with a total turnover of €8.5 million. With an current share of 10% of sales, exports have steadily increased in recent years.

KEK is divided into four business areas. In the KITCHEN.TEC division, stainless steel furniture for large kitchens and food service areas are produced. High-quality furniture for cleanrooms in the semiconductor, optical, and chemical industries are manufactured in the CLEAN.TEC division. These furniture are produced according to the requirements of cleanroom, sterile environments, and laboratories in functional and customer-oriented designs. The YACHT.TEC division includes high-quality stainless steel furniture for luxury yachts. These furniture are characterized by the highest processing quality and sophisticated design. Experience from manufacturing enhances the production of other products and increases the know-how of the entire workforce.

Laboratory furniture are produced in the LAB.TEC division. Here, cabinets, workbenches, pass-through chambers, dissection tables, as well as sinks and channels for various applications in laboratory and medical technology are manufactured. Renowned manufacturers of hospital and laboratory equipment, as well as many pharmaceutical companies and pharmacies, are among the company's customers. The high demands for purity, durability, cleaning, and surface quality are met through the extensive knowledge of the employees.

Through targeted investments and product innovation, technical know-how has been continuously developed. Extensive experience in processing and using stainless steel forms the foundation of daily operations.
