Jointly adjustable sleeves ensure maximum design flexibility
Pipe connectors for industrial stairs, work platforms, and railings
Three new joint couplings now complement the catalog range of the Industrial Staircase and Work Platform System (ITAS) from RK Rose+Krieger. The couplings feature a swivel range of 180° and an internal gear with a 15° raster, which can be removed for stepless adjustment.
The industrial staircase and work platform system from RK Rose+Krieger is a true all-rounder: It offers a technically secure solution for railings, barriers, platforms, stairs, stair transitions, and work platforms without welding. The resulting installations can be dismantled or modified at any time.
With the new joint couplings, ITAS now offers users even greater design freedom. Because the new couplings – unlike ITAS couplings with preset angles – allow for quick and easy adjustment of ITAS constructions to architectural conditions through the freely selectable angle positions.
RK Rose+Krieger offers the new joint couplings in three variants:
– for double-sided pipe connection (MIG 40 ZZ)
– for double-sided connection of ITAS pipe connectors (MIG 40 RR)
– with one pipe and one ITAS pipe connector connection (MIG 40 RZ)
They can be combined with all existing ITAS elements and 40 mm pipes. For assembly – as with all other ITAS pipe connectors – only standard tools are required.
“Even users who are already using our system can benefit from the new couplings. Because they can replace existing angled ITAS pipe connectors with the new adjustable angle pieces if needed, and thus adapt their stairs or railings to the conditions,” explains Michael Neubaur, Product Manager for Pipe Connection Technology at RK Rose+Krieger.
In addition to pipes and numerous pipe connection variants, the different ITAS construction elements include surface elements, stair tread profiles, side panels, as well as the corresponding brackets and beams. The material used is a corrosion-resistant, easy-to-clean aluminum. The tread surface of the stair tread profile, which is also suitable for creating landing surfaces, complies with DIN EN ISO 14122-3 and the accident prevention regulation (UVV) DIN 24530. The system can also be slightly modified for use in cleanrooms.
