ISPE - DACH has awarded five student prizes for outstanding achievements to students at universities of applied sciences, colleges, and universities with pharmaceutical technology-related programs.
The collaboration between ISPE Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH) with universities of applied sciences, colleges, and universities offering pharmaceutical technology programs in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland is bearing fruit.
Since the start of the study award in 2012, five prizes have been awarded again to students with outstanding performance. The awards have now been presented in a ceremonial setting.
The award winners are:
- Michael Jochner (Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich),
- Sebastian Melzig (Technical University of Braunschweig),
- Erik Schumacher (Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences),
- Viktor Schneidt (Biberach University of Applied Sciences), and
- Gerald Reif (Graz University of Technology).
For outstanding achievements and work in the field of pharmaceutical technologies (Galenic and manufacturing), ISPE DACH awards endowed study prizes to students and doctoral candidates. ISPE DACH grants this award for particularly practical, innovative theses with very good final grades. Students of bachelor/master degree programs or diploma courses in pharmaceutical technology, chemical process engineering/chemical engineering, and biotechnology at scientific universities from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland are recognized.
The prize includes a certificate, a one-year free ISPE DACH membership, and an invitation to participate free of charge in the ISPE DACH annual meeting 2016, including a social evening. The prize is endowed with €500 for each awardee.
All university lecturers in the aforementioned fields are eligible to propose candidates. Interested students can contact their instructors.
The criteria for evaluating the submitted work are practical relevance, feasibility, innovation content, and clarity of presentation.
The ISPE DACH committee (Board) decides on the awarding of the ISPE DACH study prizes.
