What was valid before the crisis remains valid during and after it: The expertise of Intratec Team GmbH from Upper Swabia Altshausen lies in demanding sheet metal processing with high technology density: Nearly 100 employees bring their skills to laser cutting, welding, 5-axis milling with a high degree of automation at the same time. A special feature is also the company's high design competence, which stands for solutions tailored to needs and not for poor off-the-shelf compromises.

Due to highly precise manufacturing capabilities, Intratec Team GmbH possesses specialized knowledge that is indispensable as a supplier to the pharmaceutical industry. This experience—with specific requirements for hygiene—comes from the production of components such as coating drums, tablet containers, extruder housings, syringe and ampoule magazines, pressure vessels, and much more.

Under the impression of the Corona crisis, whose effects will make infection protection a fundamental condition for business operations in industry, trade, and gastronomy for the foreseeable future, a team from Intratec dedicated itself to the obvious topic of disinfection. A product line has been created under the subsidiary brand inovioo, which now benefits from the qualities and qualifications of the parent brand. Solutions that are particularly affordable beyond that.

Specifically, these are hygiene towers in two heights for adults and children. Elegantly designed, flexibly constructed on lockable casters, made from indestructible stainless steel. The Corona prevention unit also offers more possibilities in modular construction—beyond disinfection—including holders for safety glasses, gloves, or face masks. The modular design and construction also open up possibilities to continue using the prevention unit sensibly after Corona—for example, with a monitor and brochure holders as well as dispensers as an info module, also flexibly on casters. The neutral design blends harmoniously into any environment and, not least because of its aesthetics, demonstrates appreciation toward customers, guests, visitors, and employees.

Further innovations in the pipeline

The inovioo team is currently developing a solution for contactless hand disinfection—with optical sensors powered by batteries, again designed in aesthetic stainless steel. In addition, the experts are developing a system that can disinfect large rooms efficiently and safely.

Intratec Team Managing Director Kilian Berger: “We see ourselves with the subsidiary brand inovioo as problem solvers in hygiene needs—especially also for the pharmaceutical industry and the requirements in cleanroom areas.” In this context, problem solving means working very individually on constructions that ultimately fit like a good tailored suit for customers. “An example of this is the so-called Hansen Tower,” explains Berger. The cart, which must meet defined hygiene requirements, has been precisely tailored to customer wishes through specific compartments, for example for folders and a laptop. And Berger continues: “What we wanted to show and prove with this is also a bit of the motto of our entrepreneurial self-understanding, namely: Everything is possible.”
