The new packing table system "Ordinis" by Kögel is specially suitable for processing and inspecting cleaned and disinfected items in hospitals and hygienically demanding industrial sectors. The manufacturer has equipped the tables for the first time with a 20-millimeter-thick, high-load ceramic work surface. This ensures optimal cleanliness and improves ergonomics at the workstation through stepless height adjustment.

Thanks to the ceramic surface, no additional jointed carrier material is required. This prevents the spread of harmful microorganisms. The surface is significantly harder compared to previously used materials. It is particularly scratch-resistant, resistant to scoring, durable, and allows glare-free work. Material abrasion that may occur during longer, intensive use from stored containers or sieves can be easily and residue-free removed with commercially available cleaning agents. For cleaning and disinfection as part of infection prophylaxis, agents according to the RKI disinfectant list can be used.

The flexible and modular packing table system can be optimally adapted to customer requirements. Kögel places great emphasis on space-saving cable management, the functional organization of accessories at the workstation, and the detailed fulfillment of the hygiene requirements of the Robert Koch Institute for "Design of workplaces, rooms, and functional units in clinics." The guideline specifies that non-hygroscopic building materials must be used for the group of processing and care workstations. Surfaces and bodies must have a seamless, homogeneous, non-porous material structure.

In designing the packing tables, Kögel paid attention not only to the possible formation of microorganisms but also to the infectiousness of pathogens and the increasing spread of antibiotic-resistant microorganisms. The basic version of the new "Packtisch ordinis ceramik 1800 C" family typically consists of two media columns, a self-locking lifting device, a ceramic plate with a surrounding safety rim, and a connecting hook frame between the media columns for fixing accessories.

Height-adjustable packing tables allow the optimal, back-friendly position for sitting or standing activities to be easily set at the push of a button. The level compensation meets safety requirements and ensures improved ergonomics. An LED lighting completes the basic equipment and enables optimal visual and functional inspection. Due to the special surface structure of the plate, light reflection is significantly reduced even at particularly bright workplaces. This makes working much more comfortable. An extensive accessory program and the mobile ordinis M packing table unit complete the new packing table family.
