Pöppelmann FAMAC® is known for high-quality and functional components and packaging. For a French customer, the company developed a round container whose lid keeps the contents completely dry—and also features a special innovation.

The FAMAC® business division of Pöppelmann specializes in developing customized, customer-oriented solutions precisely tailored to the specific requirements of the food industry as well as medical technology and the pharmaceutical sector. Pöppelmann FAMAC® has now devised a particularly innovative solution for a French producer of sauce powder.

Waterproof container protects powder from moisture

The food manufacturer needed a packaging that, on the one hand, completely airtight and moisture-protected contains the sauce powder, but on the other hand, is easy for the end customer to open and convenient to use. For this purpose, Pöppelmann FAMAC® developed a state-of-the-art round container with a lid using In-Mould-Labeling technology (IML). The waterproof container ensures that the sauce powder remains completely dry from the production plant to the end customer.

Lid can be locked in open position and fully resealed

Particularly innovative is the one-piece lid with an integrated opening flap: The lid hinge can be easily opened by the user and clicks into the open position. After use, the lid can be fully closed again. The container and lid are designed so that the print images are aligned with each other during fully automated production. The IML process ensures that the label remains permanently attached to the round container, providing an especially attractive appearance and a high-quality feel.
