Innovative cleanroom mat for the technical industry

The new METOCLEAN Air Clean Mat has been specifically developed for industries requiring cleanrooms, such as electronics, microelectronics, medical devices, medical materials, aerospace, pharmaceutical manufacturing and handling, photolithography, membrane switches, display products, hospitals, clinics, and laboratories.

This mat is the technical alternative to dust-binding mats and is used for the professional removal of particles, dirt, and deposits from shoe soles and wheels of transport carts, etc., before entering cleanroom areas.

Functionality:

A motion sensor detects when a user approaches and switches on the air filter unit. The mat contains spring-loaded ball valves that open when stepped on, releasing the negative pressure, which then sucks up dust. When leaving the mat, the system automatically switches off again. The collected dirt is stored in a filter bag, similar to a vacuum cleaner. Air cleaned by HEPA filters exits the system, much cleaner than before. During a day, up to 90% of airborne particles sized 1 - 5 µm are captured in the filter.

Installation:

The Air Clean Mat is simply connected to the existing 230 VAC power supply via a cable with a Schuko plug.

The METOCLEAN Air Clean Mat is available in many different sizes and configurations. Custom sizes can also be manufactured.

This floor mat is ergonomically designed, allowing unhindered entry and movement of trolleys, pallet trucks, or similar equipment. Its sturdy construction can even support loads up to 600 kg, enabling the cleaning of wheels from loaded transport carts. If desired, this mat can also be embedded into the floor.
