Innovative and cross-industry development partner

The Plastics Center in Leipzig (KUZ) presents itself at K2019 in Düsseldorf as a development partner for precise plastic engineering solutions. From October 16-23, 2019, the research institute will showcase exemplary product developments for various industries at its exhibition booth. Solutions for medical technology, (e)mobility, and mechanical engineering will be presented.

Product development, process design, and technology optimization, as well as industrial research, are the focus. Displayed are small, precise, and bioresorbable molded parts just a few millimeters in size, as well as stiff foam structures for lightweight construction and ultrasonic-welded machine components.

As an innovative and reliable partner of the industry, KUZ offers services along the entire value chain: raw materials and compounding, mold and tool design, processing of thermoplastics and polyurethanes, joining technology, plastics testing in an accredited testing laboratory, and specialized training.

Trade fair discount and injection molding advice(d) service

Two attractive offers await visitors at the KUZ exhibition booth. Firstly, there are vouchers for discounted tickets to the specialist conference "Plastics meet Electronics" in January 2020 in Leipzig.

Additionally, there is a handy injection molding advice(d) guide to take with you. This is a compact tool in A5 format for processors. On one side, specific processing instructions for 24 different materials are listed. On the other side, 24 injection molding defects are additionally listed, providing processors with assistance in troubleshooting.
