"Innovations in Cleanroom Technology" – Focus of the Event

The developments in cleanroom technology have progressed somewhat less rapidly since the "pioneer era" of the 1980s and 1990s. However, in recent years, small incremental steps have repeatedly revealed significant innovations that have led to new cleanroom equipment, as well as new cleanroom systems and applications. Since the beginning of the 21st century, the focus of cleanroom technology has shifted, in addition to pure air within a room, towards pure products and clean surfaces in the cleanroom. Recently, the suitability of equipment and materials used in cleanroom technology has increasingly come into focus. The industry has demanded guidelines that specify the cleanliness of surfaces in the cleanroom and the suitability of materials used, worldwide. The new and revised guidelines of VDI 2083 and ISO 14644-9 to 17 attest to this.

This is the focus of this year's SRRT-SwissCCS Expert Conference 2022.
