To promote innovations, the T4M, together with the T4M Start-up World and the supported joint booth of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), offers attractive opportunities for the next generation of the industry.

Future researcher Sven Gábor Jánszky summed it up at the premiere of T4M 2019: "In the medical technology industry, more and more happens every year – you can't afford to fall behind. T4M is the culmination of industry discussions." In 2020, many companies that play a pioneering role in medical technology will again come to T4M – Technology for Medical Devices in Stuttgart. Because the young trade fair in southern Germany promotes networking and exchange intensively – fundamental prerequisites for the development and implementation of new ideas. Furthermore, T4M, with its clearly defined exhibition focuses on manufacturing technology, production environment, services, components, and materials, offers the opportunity to meet relevant players for promising business relationships.

"Successful companies involve suppliers, universities, or research institutions in their value chain and thus in the innovation process," says T4M project manager Tanja Wendling. "In Stuttgart, one of the key regions for medical technology in Europe, the industry meets, valuable connections can be made, and the innovation potential can be exploited."

Springboard for Start-ups and Young Companies

To promote innovation, T4M offers attractive opportunities for industry newcomers. This includes the T4M Start-up World, a joint initiative of Messe Stuttgart and Medtech Zwo. It provides founders with promising medical technology solutions a professional platform and enables them to exchange ideas with industry giants and investors. Additionally, start-ups can use the pitching stage at T4M to present their innovations to a high-caliber professional audience.

Since this year, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) also supports T4M in its commitment to innovative companies: By promoting a joint stand, emerging German companies have the opportunity to present themselves at favorable conditions and thus make a name for themselves in the global medtech market.

Impulses through Networking

Because new ideas mainly emerge collectively, exhibitors and visitors at T4M have plenty of opportunities for professional dialogue and intensive networking. "Trade fair and accompanying program are under one roof at T4M, so contacts are quickly and easily made," says Wendling. "Networking can also take place at specially organized events and at joint stands serving as central information points."

With a comprehensive accompanying program, T4M further enhances knowledge transfer within medical technology. At specialist forums, workshops, and keynote speeches, exhibitors and visitors receive new impulses and learn what moves the industry.
