The premiere appearance of the RobotScan Flex at the Cleanzone trade fair in Frankfurt am Main immediately caused a sensation in the professional world. The prototype developed by the engineers of InfraSolution AG is a novel, automated measurement system that offers a previously unknown quality in conducting filter integrity tests. "This robot will revolutionize cleanroom technology," said the jury and the international trade fair audience. Therefore, the Cleanroom Award 2015 goes to the InfraSolution AG group based in Langen.

The winning concept involves a robotic arm that automatically scans vertical and horizontal end-stage filters and laminar flow units, in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. The intelligent software creates the necessary documentation and evaluations and visualizes the measurement results in the form of an electronic test protocol. "The jury and the professional audience recognized and appreciated that the RobotScan Flex enables more precise measurements, including documentation, in less time with less personnel," said Bastian Heberer, Chairman of the Board and CEO, about the award. These factors are expected to be the success factors in cleanroom production in the future.
