On October 4th and 5th, ILMAC LAUSANNE will take place for the first time, offering a unique platform for the chemistry and life sciences community in the French-speaking Swiss market. The main focus in the Western Swiss market is on specialty chemicals, the pharmaceutical industry, and biotechnology.

A new concept for Western Switzerland

ILMAC LAUSANNE is an ideal extension of ILMAC, which takes place every three years in Basel (September 24-27, 2019). The central element of the platform is the presentation of products in the exhibition area, designed as a comprehensive structure with system booths.

The Networking Zone, the heart of the event

The open Networking Zone is the core of the event and serves as a space for mutual exchange of ideas and thoughts, where encounters and dialogue are the focus. The networking déjeuner included in the admission ticket (CHF 40.-) runs from 12:00 to 14:00.

Current challenges in the life sciences industries

On October 4th, the Swiss Chemical Society will demonstrate how operational excellence can be implemented through best practice examples. Five experts from the chemical and pharmaceutical industries will share their experiences in process development.

Thursday, October 5th, will focus on Industry 4.0 in the life sciences sector. Solutions for technological and industrial challenges (e.g., personalized medicine) will be discussed in the morning. In the afternoon, business- and market-specific challenges (e.g., regulatory aspects) and their solutions will be the focus.

The lectures will take place from 9:00 to 12:00 in rooms sponsored by Containex and will complete the format.
