ILMAC 2016: Swiss Trade Fair for Process and Laboratory Technology

Every three years, over 12,000 specialists from the pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnology, cosmetics, food, and beverage industries gather at Messe Basel. They cultivate their business relationships and inform themselves about new approaches and solutions in the field of industrial applications of process and laboratory technology. The current industry theme "Industry 4.0" is intensely discussed at the ILMAC Forum.

Industry Trade Fair ILMAC Close to the Market

ILMAC presents all industrial applications of process and laboratory technology in a focused and clear manner. These sectors are increasingly converging in the market, as processes within companies are no longer separated but planned and implemented holistically. Therefore, the exhibitors are now arranged in a mixed layout.

ILMAC Forum with Lunch & Learn Sessions on 4.0

The Swiss Chemical Society SCG organizes the ILMAC Forum in cooperation with partner associations. The highlight is the popular Lunch & Learn sessions during lunchtime. The latest developments around the topic of Industry 4.0 are presented.

SCG FH Award 2016

ILMAC places a strong emphasis on industry-related innovations and applications in the chemistry sector. Universities of applied sciences focus on these aspects in both education and research & development. For the second time, the SCG FH Award is announced and awarded during ILMAC 2016. All projects are exhibited at the joint stand of the universities of applied sciences and the SCG, and the winning projects are additionally presented in the ILMAC Forum.

Cleanroom Control at ILMAC 16

ILMAC 2016 dedicates space to this important topic, focusing on controlled environmental cleanliness for research, development, and production. Cleanroom Control is the attractive community zone developed in collaboration with the Cleanroom Academy and SwissCCS for ILMAC 2016.

LabTec4.0

LabTec4.0 aims to bring laboratory equipment more into practical application. Inspired by the "Innovation Days" typical of large companies, exhibitors in LabTec4.0 present their innovative topics directly in a specially set-up laboratory environment. They showcase their products in practical use and demonstrate the benefits to visitors.

ILMAC Networking Event & Party

On Wednesday, September 21, ILMAC will be open longer, giving visitors the opportunity to explore and experience the fair in a relaxed setting after work. For two hours, from 5 to 7 p.m., the professional trade fair business makes room for convivial networking. Exhibitors will entertain guests with musical and artistic programs at their booths and treat them to aperitifs and fine snacks. Following the networking event, the fair management invites everyone to the ILMAC Party, where exhibitors, visitors, and interested parties can wind down the evening together.

Concentrated Life Science Power in 2016

During ILMAC, the Basel Life Science Week international congress and MipTec will take place at the Congress Center Basel. In the past, MCH Messe Schweiz (Basel) AG has cooperated with Congrex Switzerland and concentrated its efforts during Basel Life Science Week.
